Jimmy Quinn! Jimmy Quinn! He's here! He's here! Well, not Jimmy Quinn actually but the author of this book, Richard VanDeWeghe at 4:00 today to answer questions and sign books. His 1st novel in the Traverse City State Hospital series, while an exciting mystery, is also a commentary on mental illness/depression and how we deal with it and how we can BETTER deal with those who suffer. In fact, that's my first question for Mr. VanDeWegne "Did he know he was writing in a manner that would not only poke at our consciousness but also give us thoughts on how to better be aware of those who suffer? And of course, there's Jimmy Quinn, who taught the protagonist so many lessons on being more aware of those we marginalize in our society without even knowing it. Well done, Mr. VanDeWeghe. 😊📚#baybookstore #suttonsbay #baybooks #suttonsbaymichigan #mentalillness #mentalhealthawareness #richardvandeweghe #jimmyquinn #baybooksmi ... See MoreSee Less

True Story! Real Hero!
Jason Fagone's book documents the remarkable life of Elizabeth Smith, a Shakespearean scholar who was instrumental in the development of cryptology during WWII. Initially her expertise was used to nab bootleggers during the Prohibition era but soon her skills were directed to codes used by the Germans and the Japanese. Fagone does an amazing job of explaining the fundamentals of cryptology. Fascinating read! #cryptology #baybookstore #suttonsbay #baybooks #suttonsbaymichigan #baybooksmi
