JUN 26 Meet the Winemaker 6pm

Meet Larry Mawby, winemaker and author, as he explains away the secrets of making Champagne—-no, Sparkling Wine—in the traditional ‘méthode champenoise’ perfected in Champagne.
Larry Mawby spent his formative years on his family’s apple orchard in Rockford and on his grandparents’ nearby apple and peach farm just outside of Grand Rapids. At age 13, Mawby’s father, Edwin, sold the Rockford orchard to his brother, Roger, and moved the family to Suttons Bay on a permanent basis. We’re so glad he did!

To learn more about this magnificent winery and Larry’s journey, come sit with us a spell and listen to Larry’s wonderful story. To participate and keep up with the happenings at L.Mawby, check out their website at http://www.lmawby.com
