Book Club books are discounted 20% for participants in the Bay Books, Wines and Words, Shades by Invitation Only, and Martha's Roaming Readers book clubs.
This is group is friendly, informal and always ready for a lively discussion. Book titles span across the board and we seek to read that which we might not normally choose for ourselves. The group is usually between 6 - 10, depending upon the season. Tina Greene-Bevington is the facilitator, alternating with other members of the group as the spirit moves them.
The group meets the second Tuesday of every month at 6:00 pm for an hour to an hour and a half, more or less. The Bay Books Book Club meets year round and is open to anyone who wishes to join for a day or a season.

The Meaning of Wife
Shades - A Women's Studies Book Club
Led by various members of the group, the focus is on women's studies and sexuality. It is guided by one rule: No Judgement! Well, maybe two rules...... keep this a safe place to express your thoughts. Two rules, but very nice rules. The group is usually 8 - 10 women.
Shades meets the first Tuesday of every month at 6:00 pm and is open to everyone. If you are interested in starting a similar group, contact Tina at Bay Books.
Martha's Roaming Readers
An adventurous group that loves to travel (and read!), all book titles are selected to complement the trips planned by Martha Ryan of Martha's Leelanau Table. Delicious charcuterie and wine are provided by Martha's Leelanau Table at each discussion and membership is usually between 8 - 12. Kinda makes you want to sign up for the next trip, right?
